The Sisters of Charity of St. John of God is a religious Congregation of women, established within the Syro-Malabar Church. The congregation's vocation is to live as faithful disciples of Christ, embodying His compassionate love and mercy. The Sisters are dedicated to serving the poor, the sick, and the oppressed, taking a fourth vow of hospitality in addition to the evangelical counsels of poverty, obedience, and chastity. The congregation strives to ensure that everyone has access to quality healthcare, regardless of their background or circumstances, and to respond to the renewing work of the Holy Spirit until death.
